It also assists and negotiates in the resolution of distressed assets, troubled loan credits, and equity portfolios.
Price-CO Law is the recognized expert in Georgia as distressed asset attorneys and on Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) negotiations and distressed asset resolution. Its attorneys’ expertise comes from years as loss-share auditors on behalf of the FDIC monitoring the compliance of assuming institutions and structured sale purchasers with their respective Shared-Loss and Participated Interest Agreements.

Benjamin J. Cohen
Partner
Mr. Cohen draws on his expert knowledge of real estate, banking, and the distressed asset market, specializing in complex business transactions and commercial litigation. As an attorney, Mr. Cohen has successfully negotiated on behalf of his client’s interests to protect millions of dollars of assets. Mr. Cohen has previously worked as a developer, banker, consultant, and financier. He also held several roles with the FDIC, both as their leading loss-share auditor and as receiver, where he oversaw the winding up of billions of dollars of assets.
Mr. Cohen is a native of Dunwoody and attended Woodward Academy.

Jackson E. Oliver
Partner
Mr. Oliver is a real estate (“dirt”) legal scholar. His expertise coupled with his technical knowledge of civil procedure makes him a formidable legal adversary. As an attorney, he has successfully litigated hundreds of cases and closed thousands of real estate transactions. Mr. Oliver excels at closing complex multi-parcel assemblages because his real estate title knowledge allows him to solve puzzles that leave others perplexed. Mr. Oliver’s love of problem-solving extends to dispossessory practice where, starting during the Great Recession, he contended with prosecuting thousands of evictions, which involved post-foreclosure issues and the application of the Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act.
Mr. Oliver is a native of Gainesville, Georgia, and currently lives with his wife and children in Sandy Springs, Georgia, where he is an active member of the community.
